With the goal of delivering timely guidance in these uncertain times, AALRR has developed the School District Emergency Child Care Waiver ToolKit™.  The California Department of Social Services (“CDSS”) issued updated guidance explaining how new child care programs could be opened, or existing child care programs expanded, on K-12 school district campuses in light of the statewide order prohibiting schools located in counties on the State’s Monitoring List from opening for in-person instruction.  This ToolKit™ contains documents that  that will guide your district in applying for emergency waivers for temporary child care facilities and providers.  

The School District Emergency Child Care Waiver ToolKit™ has been developed for K12 districts in the public schools -- NOT for use with the private schools.
