  • Ranked the top firm in the country by Law360 for minority equity partners and in the top 10 for minority attorneys in general

    AALRR received top recognition by Law360 in two of the publication’s annual diversity rankings. The “Top Firms for Minority Attorneys” and the “Top Firms for Minority Equity Partners” lists are the result of a survey of over 300 law firms around the country and regularly include some of the biggest names in law.     AALRR partners Terry Tao, Mary Salamone, John James, and Jeff Burch were named to the Best Lawyers’ 25th annual Best Lawyers in America list, with Ms. Salamone being named "Lawyer of the Year" in construction litigation.     On March 2018, AALRR was honored its fourth National Diversity Excellence Award. The award was given by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.     Nate Kowalski and Irma Rodríguez Moisa, partners at AALRR, have been honored for their exceptional legal writing as winners of the eighteenth annual Burton Awards. Kowalski and Rodríguez Moisa were recognized for their article “The Cat’s Paw Doctrine: Declawing Summary Judgment,” originally published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal.   • Named the 15th largest law firm in Los Angeles by Los Angeles Business Journal

    With 101 attorneys practicing in Los Angeles County, the law firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is now the 15th largest in the county, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal. In 2016, AALRR was listed as the 18th largest firm.
