Mastering the Art and Science of Evaluations: Drafting and Delivering Effective Performance Reviews and Discipline

Back by popular demand, we will again offer this invaluable session on both writing and delivering effective performance evaluations and discipline. The purpose of this INTERACTIVE session is to empower attendees with knowledge and confidence with respect to delivering even the most challenging evaluations/discipline.  Evaluating (and potentially disciplining) employees can be overwhelming and something that managers wish they could avoid – either because of time constraints, poor planning, discomfort with difficult conversations or a general lack of knowledge and tools that aid in this important process. There are tested methods, however, that ease these challenges.  From a drafting perspective, the presenters will review the proven FRISK (Facts, Rules, Impact, Suggestions/Directives and Knowledge of Rights) methodology to arm attendees with core principles that ensure evaluations and discipline are thorough, supported and well-written.  From a delivery perspective, attendees will have the opportunity to watch live role plays of some of the typical and most difficult evaluation scenarios to aid in their delivery.  The session will end with the presenters addressing real-time questions (that can be asked anonymously) to assist the audience with their challenging scenarios.
