AALRR Welcomes Partner David Lester to the Firm

06.14.2018

This month, Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo welcomed David M. Lester as its newest partner in the firm’s Cerritos office. With over thirty years of experience as a labor and employment attorney in California and numerous trial successes to his name, David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to AALRR’s Private Labor and Employment practice.

David has worked for years as a top litigator in the Southern California region, handling matters ranging from trade secrets and unfair competition, sexual harassment and sexual battery, and disability discrimination, to union organizing and collective bargaining, layoffs, and fair debt collection practices. In addition, he frequently provides counsel to clients on day-to-day employment and corporate governance issues to help prevent unnecessary litigation. David is a sought after trainer and speaker on employment-related issues, and has published articles in a number of legal publications.

“We’re thrilled to bring someone as experienced as David onto our team, where he can hit the ground running,” comments Paul Fleck, head of the firm’s Private Labor and Employment practice group. “Our ability to offer our clients top-notch legal representation on a full suite of employment matters is what sets our practice apart, and David makes an excellent addition to our bench of attorneys.”

Outside of his legal practice, when not sitting at a ballpark watching a baseball game, David enjoys traveling all over the world from Mumbai, India, to New York City to visit his children and experience different cultures and lifestyles.
