Four AALRR Attorneys Named on Pasadena Magazine’s “Top Pasadena Attorneys 2025” List

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is pleased to announce that four of its attorneys were named on Pasadena Magazine’s “Top Pasadena Attorneys 2025” list in the practice areas of Business Litigation and Labor and Employment Law.

The following AALRR attorneys were listed:

BUSINESS LITIGATION

Keo Keopong, Senior Associate, represents clients in complex, business, commercial, real estate, trust and estates, and other civil litigation. Ms. Keopong prosecutes and defends claims in contentious lawsuits involving business disputes, real property disputes, contractual issues, corporate and fiduciary malfeasance, professional negligence and malpractice, fraud and fraudulent conversion, Civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) violations, unfair competition, financial elder abuse, tax defense, trust and estate disputes, and insurance issues, among others.

LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW

Mae Alberto, Of Counsel, litigates cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She also consults on appellate issues, drafts complex dispositive motions, including summary judgment motions and motions to dismiss in both federal and state courts, and assists in the preparation of appellate briefs.

Sarkis Atoyan, Partner, represents clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, involving wage and hour (including class actions), wrongful discharge, discrimination/harassment, retaliation, and leaves of absence. Mr. Atoyan has significant experience in the defense of wage and hour class actions and representative action lawsuits under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). He also has experience in evaluating class action data and conducting damage calculations for nationwide class actions.

Thomas Lenz, Partner, is a recognized authority on labor and employment law and all issues pertaining to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Mr. Lenz advises, trains, and represents employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters. In a typical work day, Mr. Lenz will train supervisors on harassment prevention, participate in collective bargaining to negotiate a labor agreement, edit employment policies, respond to an NLRB investigation, help an employer prepare for labor arbitration, and review the terms of a corporate transaction for potential labor vulnerabilities, while also responding to calls and emails on day to day employee issues affecting our client employers. Mr. Lenz is also an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.

The Magazine’s "Top Attorneys" list is an annual guide conducted by Professional Research Services (PRS).
