We designed Board Member Boot Camp to educate and prepare individuals who are new to (or aspiring to) serve on boards or to enhance the skills of existing board members. These training sessions cover a range of topics to ensure board members are well-equipped to meet their responsibilities effectively.
Boot Camp Sessions
Session 1 | October 10, 2026 | Brown Act Basics: Ensuring Transparency in Public Meetings
Session 2 | October 17, 2026 | Ethics Principles, Conflict of Interest, and Form 700 for AB 2158 Compliance Training (10:00-12:15 p.m.)
Session 3 | October 24, 2026 | Ethical Leadership for Board Members
