All Aboard! Welcome to the Manifestation Determination Station
Over these 10 sessions, we will follow a hypothetical of a general education student and special education student who commit the same code of conduct violation and discuss how the disciplinary process differs. Sessions will also focus on conducting defensible manifestation determination reports, meetings, and answering the two MD questions – including interactive MD case examples. In the final sessions (spoiler alert), we will discuss the process of a parent’s 11th hour assertion their general education student should have been initially assessed for special education now that they are facing expulsion.
