Introduction to Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act
The Public Safety Officers’ Procedural Bill of Rights Act (“POBR”) has been around since the 1970’s, but it is constantly evolving. Join us for a conversation with our experienced public safety attorneys who have represented law enforcement unions and their individual members in their former careers. They will share what POBR is and who it covers; recent case law interpreting sections of POBR; and pitfalls to avoid when dealing with POBR. This session is designed to be interactive and will include issues that have arisen in the recent past concerning POBR.
