Emerging From the Pandemic: COVID-19 Planning For K-12 Institutions

This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of rules governing K-12 educational institutions as we emerge from the pandemic and prepare for the 2021-22 school year. Specific topics will include: EEOC guidance; Cal/OSHA regulations; ongoing State school guidance (including mask requirements); leaves of absence; vaccine-related rules; ongoing impact of the Governor’s Executive Orders (including those waiving Brown Act requirements); options for remote instruction; status of local Emergency Resolutions; and bargaining implications.
