School Board Unanimously Approves Lottery for GATE Admission

The Davis school board unanimously affirmed an administrative recommendation to switch from the present rank-ordered system for enrolling GATE-identified students, to a new lottery system.  The change in enrollment methodology has created a lot of discussion among the board, teachers and parents.
