California Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities Releases its 2018 Annual Report

The California Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (CCEPD) has released its 2018 report. Meeting quarterly, the CCEPD advances employment for people with disabilities by making policy recommendations to the Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Agency and the Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency. The CCEPD both influences policy as it is being developed and creates new policy recommendations, as needed.

As a statewide body, the CCEPD has representatives from various state departments, business leaders and representatives of people with disabilities. Two Members are also appointed from the Senate Rules Committee and the Assembly Speaker. AALRR attorney Robert Fried serves on the CCEPD. Please find the full report attached below.
