AALRR Partner Meredith Brown Featured in Spring 2026 Issue of California School Business Magazine

03.25.2026

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is pleased to share that Partner Meredith Brown has been featured in the Spring 2026 issue of California School Business Magazine, published by the California Association of School Business Officials. In the article, Meredith shares details about her background in assisting school districts and other public entities in navigating their legal needs for more than 30 years.

A graduate of Boston University School of Law, Meredith spent time early in her career in Ghana and Senegal, gaining perspective about their cultures and discovering that the people of those countries had similar struggles. “When I work with CBOs, it’s like a microcosm of the global trade agreements I studied in school. Everyone is trying to figure out what’s best for their community and find a solution that’s fair and equitable.”

“Working with the team of attorneys at AALRR provides access to a wide breadth of skills and resources that enable me to accommodate the unique needs of our clients in a manner that is responsive to the communities that they serve,” said Meredith. “I am glad to have found a place that integrates a sense of community with professional service.”

“Meredith’s feature is a testament to the kind of leadership and perspective we strive to cultivate within our practice,” commented David Boyer, chair of AALRR’s Facilities, Construction, and Property Practice Group. “Her commitment to community outreach and the provision of excellent legal services exemplifies the values that define the Firm. We are proud to see Meredith contributing to an important conversation about how the legal profession can better serve the public.”
