AALRR is proud to announce that we were a nominee for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards. The Los Angeles Business Journal hosted a digital awards ceremony on April 26 to honor the work of the nonprofit community and the corporations and businesses that support them.

“Here at AALRR, we are committed not just to our clients, but also to our employees and the communities we live in. We are honored to have been considered for an award amongst so many esteemed charitable organizations and community-oriented businesses,” said Managing Partner Mark Palin. “We offer our sincerest congratulations to the winners and thank them for their contributions to the community.”

As a California law firm serving both private and public organizations, we found ourselves in a unique position to act, not only on the behalf of our employees and clients but also the communities they serve. AALRR immediately established its COVID-19 Task Force to focus on ways to organize the firm’s internal response to the crisis and provide timely, informed guidance to our clients.

Throughout the pandemic, AALRR continued its support of numerous charitable organizations. The firm donated to many organizations, including the Campaign for College Opportunity, the American Red Cross, California Minority Council Program and numerous nonprofit support organizations affiliated with our public school district clients in order to help support the continuing education of children throughout the state. Additionally, in recognition of Juneteenth, the firm closed its offices for the day and made a sizable contribution to an education, research, and policy organization dedicated to equity and promoting healthy racial identity development in youth.
