Charter Authorizers - Recent Changes in Law

We are partnering with some of our colleagues to offer a webinar for school districts and county offices of education to highlight the significant changes to charter school law that are included in the final state budget deal. Charter authorizers will see additional oversight requirements tied to review and monitoring of charter school audits, more comprehensive review of a charter school’s finances, auditing of its own oversight practices, and more.

This session, led by some of the leading experts of charter authorizing in California, will cover all the new changes in law tied to charter authorizing and oversight and will provide insight and helpful tips to implementing the new requirements. We encourage all charter authorizing staff and school business officials to attend and take the time to fully understand these new requirements.
