This training is for School Districts, County Offices of Education & SELPAS in Central Coast Counties only. 

Student behaviors, particularly those that arise in special education or discipline-related settings, can pose significant risks to employees at school sites and the resulting injuries to faculty and staff can be severe.  This session will explore recent developments in school safety laws and the district’s obligation to keep employees safe in the workplace,  as well as best strategies for reducing and preventing staff injuries.
