Two-Part Training Series

These presentations will focus on the legal requirements under Section 504, including the child find mandate, evaluation requirements, how to make legally compliant eligibility determinations, and strategies for drafting effective Section 504 plans. These presentations will also highlight some key differences between Section 504 and the IDEA, to better inform decision making when a student is in need of additional support. 

Who Should Attend?

This training is geared toward administrators or other Section 504 team members (teachers, counselors, school psychologists, nurses, etc.) who are relatively new to the Section 504 process or would like a refresher.

Tuesday, August 24 | 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (PST) | Part I: Section 504 Child Find and Evaluation

 Thursday, August 26 | 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (PST) | Part II: Writing the 504 Plan

Registration Cost

Two Part Series $199 Per Person -OR- $179 per person with 2 or more from the same district.  Part II is a continuation of, and builds upon Part I.
