Tackling Tough Cop Cases: The Most Difficult Issues In Law Enforcement

This presentation will explore the difficult issues that often arise in law enforcement discipline cases, such as: Dealing with evidence of disparate treatment, assessing and weighing credibility of witnesses, resolving conflicting testimony and evidence, dealing with obstreperous advocates. What sorts of things can an advocate do to lose credibility before the eyes of an arbitrator? What does an arbitrator look for in a winning case?  What are the most difficult types of disciplinary cases?  The panel of experienced law enforcement disciplinary practitioners will delve into these questions, and many more, for an entertaining and enlightening discussion on difficult law enforcement cases.
