Overview

Robert ("Rob") Walker represents employers and management in all aspects of labor relations and employment law including litigation and preventive counseling, wage and hour matters (including class actions and PAGA claims), wrongful termination, employee discipline, executive employment contract disputes, sexual harassment training and investigations, workplace violence, and drug testing and privacy issues. A substantial portion of Mr. Walker’s practice involves the defense of employers in employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination litigation in state and federal court as well as arbitration proceedings throughout California.

In addition to his litigation and trial practice, Mr. Walker also counsels clients on litigation avoidance techniques and best practices to insulate businesses from risk. He has significant experience representing management and employers in the hospitality sector (including hotels, bars, restaurants, and clubs), medical services industry (physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, retirement communities), real estate (commercial and residential property owners, management companies, home owners associations), and professional services industry (design professionals including architects and engineers) throughout California. 

Mr. Walker frequently writes and presents about developments in the law impacting California employers and is recognized by his peers and legal associations as one of the preeminent Southern California attorneys in the employment law field.  When not working, he is an avid motorsports enthusiast and huge fan of USC Football.  Mr. Walker also enjoys traveling and visiting new places and cultures and hopes to eventually visit all 50 United States.
