Overview
Nour Vakhshoury represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including discrimination, harassment, litigation, wrongful termination, negotiations, retaliation, wage and hour, and compliance with state and federal labor laws. Ms. Vakhshoury also advises employers on compliance with federal immigration laws including I-9 completion and audits, as well as government searches, warrants and raids.
Ms. Vakhshoury earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley. In law school, she gained hands on experience working in the Workers’ Rights Clinic, Civil Rights Clinic, and Immigration Law Clinic. Ms. Vakhshoury was also an intern for the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Voting Rights Practice Group, wherein she assisted with complex voting rights litigation matters. Following law school, Ms. Vakhshoury worked for the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights where she represented immigrants in deportation removal proceedings.
