Overview

John Garzon represents public and private educational institutions including K-12 school districts, community college districts, and county offices of education in a variety of general education matters. Mr. Garzon’s practice includes advice and counsel regarding general governance, contracts and procurement, labor and employment, real property, and more.

While attending the University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Garzon was a Judicial Intern in the office of the Counselor to the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court of the United States. Following this, he worked in debt finance at an international law firm, became a staff member working on legal matters at his alma mater, College of the Canyons, and practiced education law at a law firm in the Los Angeles area.

John is also an active member of the community in the Santa Clarita Valley, serving as Chair of his local NAACP chapter’s Social Justice & Legal Dress Committee, and volunteering with the Junior Chamber International (JCI).
