Overview

Joel Gordon represents private employers in various aspects of labor and employment law, including litigation, wage and hour class actions, representative Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions, individual claims for harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

Previously, Mr. Gordon worked at a plaintiff firm where he represented employees in class action employment and PAGA matters, including unpaid wages, meal and rest break violations, inaccurate wage statements, misclassification, and unreimbursed work expenses. He also has handled a wide range of litigation matters, including individual personal injury cases, mass tort actions, consumer class actions, and False Claims Act cases.

While attending law school, Mr. Gordon externed for Judge Gregory Alarcon in the Los Angeles Superior Court and at the Federal Trade Commission’s consumer fraud division.
