Overview
Jennifer Choi represents California school districts and county offices of education in a wide range of special education and student matters including resolution sessions, mediations, due process hearings, CDE compliance complaints, OCR compliance complaints, student discipline, Title IX, and discrimination claims. Ms. Choi has successfully litigated special education cases before the Office of Administrative Hearings. She also believes in empowering clients with compliance advice and legal trainings to avoid costly disputes.
Prior to being a lawyer, Ms. Choi was a classroom teacher in Brooklyn, NY, where she helped found both the second and fourth grades of a newly established elementary school. This experience uniquely shapes her approach to problem solving and supporting her clients’ ultimate mission: to serve and educate all students.
