Overview

Brittaney de la Torre provides advice and counsel for employers with respect to labor and employment law. Ms. de la Torre handles matters involving employment policies and procedures, litigation, investigations, leaves of absence, discrimination, harassment, employee discipline, wrongful termination, retaliation, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), compliance with state and federal labor laws, and wage and hour.

Prior to joining AALRR, Ms. de la Torre represented corporate entities in single-plaintiff litigation involving FEHA and Labor Code claims and conducted workplace investigations involving executive employees. She has also represented employees in single-plaintiff lawsuits alleging harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. At the start of her career, Ms. de la Torre served as an Employment Law Division Fellow at the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney.
