Overview

Annabelle de la Mora has over 35 years of experience as a litigator. Her litigation experience includes title insurance coverage, business disputes, escrow, real property, and mortgage banking involving lender liability defense, wrongful foreclosure, loan fraud recovery, loan repurchase, and loan servicing disputes.

Ms. de la Mora was previously an Assistant Vice-President and in-house counsel at Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. She was outside litigation counsel for title insurance companies and their lender insureds. In that capacity, she has handled a wide variety of title insurance issues and claims, including but not limited to lien validity and priority disputes, title challenges, curative title matters, coverage disputes, equitable subrogation, insurer recoupment matters, claims investigations, and insurer bad faith. In addition to representing title insurance companies, Ms. de la Mora has represented a wide variety of financial institutions, including nationally known banks, mortgage bankers, and loan servicers.
