Overview
Benjamin Wang represents and advises school districts, community college districts, and county offices of education in all areas of labor relations, general education matters, and administrative proceedings. Mr. Wang’s areas of practice include public agency governance, unfair labor practice law, complaint investigations and corrective actions, and records requests. Mr. Wang also assists school districts and county offices of education in special education matters under the IDEA, Section 504, and the ADA.
Mr. Wang has represented clients in proceedings before the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) and the California courts. In special education matters, he has represented clients in Due Process Hearing proceedings under the IDEA. Additionally, Mr. Wang investigates complaints and advises public bodies on compliance with conflict of interest laws and open meeting laws.
