Overview

Melisa McKellar advises and represents employers throughout California in various aspects of labor and employment law, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, discipline and termination, wage and hour, sick leave, breach of contract, and workplace investigations. Ms. McKellar represents her clients in state and federal court, arbitration, mediation, and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Civil Rights Department, and the California Labor Commissioner’s Office.

Ms. McKellar earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law where she was Vice-Chair of National Teams, for the Appellate Moot Court Board and a member of the Appellate Moot Court Executive and Associate Boards, and a National Team Member.

Ms. McKellar is also a lecturer at the University of San Diego, School of Law, where she teaches appellate advocacy.
