The National Law Journal has recognized Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo as one of 20 midsize law firms for inclusion on their 2011 “Hot List.”

To be included on the “List,” the National Law Journal focused on the agility of midsize law firms in today’s economy. “The National Law Journal’s Midsize Hot List includes 20 law firms that have thrived amid the downturn. From among the stacks of nominations we received, we selected firms that experienced a string of successes and that showed innovative ways to run their operations despite the economy.” (July 11, 2011, Midsize Hot List, The National Law Journal) “We are thrilled, of course to be one of the 20 firms recognized by The National Law Journal," says Managing Partner, James C. Romo. “Our diversified practice representing clients in both the private and public sector has allowed us to weather the storm, even through the dark days of the recession.” "We have strategically positioned our seven offices in urban locations, permitting us to service clients throughout the state, our rates are very competitive, and we have used the opportunity created by the downturn to hire attorneys to increase market share.”

The 2011 "Midsize Hot List" is a special report that recognized 20 innovative law firms from across the nation with 50 to 150 lawyers. The July 11th issue of The National Law Journal, which contains the "Midsize Hot List" special report, is available online at www.nlj.com.
