COVID-19 continues to place pressure on private-sector workplaces. Employers are faced with tough choices regarding business decisions, employee-relation issues all while grappling with changing employee expectations. Unionized employers must also address issues in the context of their obligations under the NLRA and collective bargaining agreements.  As we turn the corner into Fall, the election will have bearing on administration priorities, the labor market which will trickle down changes to labor relations.

Part 1:  November 6 — Labor landscape after the November elections.  The outcome of November election races will impact who is making decisions on labor law and policy.   This session will identify hot topic issues employers need to be aware in running their business as well as legislation and proposals for change.

Part 2:  November 13 — The use and impact of Labor Peace Agreements in today’s workplace.  Labor Peace Agreements are seeing increased use as a way for labor unions to grow their membership and presence.  They are important conditions of doing business in a number of business settings and required in other settings.  This session will identify issues all employers should be aware of on this important topic.

Part 3:  November 20 — [Panel Discussion]   

Our three-part series will navigate the ever-changing facts, governmental guidance and legal mandates and provide up-to-the-minute changes and key considerations to prepare your business for the New Year with continued operations in the era of COVID-19.
