Michael J. Berry  represents private-sector clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, including but not limited to, union disputes, union organization campaigns, and lawsuits alleging discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, whistleblower, wage and hour, and ADA Title III denial of access. Mr. Berry has a broad range of experience in litigation, including trials, arbitrations, mediations, negotiations, written discovery, depositions and law and motion. Mr. Berry also has experience with administrative proceedings with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, California Fair Employment and Housing Commission and National Labor Relations Board. In addition to being an aggressive litigator, Mr. Berry provides preventative counseling and training to employers. 

Representative Matters

  • Los Angeles County Superior Court, Case No. BC563960: won complete summary judgment defending an auto dealership on claims of whistle blower retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract and unfair competition, where plaintiff’s entire action was dismissed.
