Overview

Michael Addy handles all matters relating to education law in Northern California. His experience includes conducting internal investigations and interviewing witnesses regarding age, race, disability, and sex-based discrimination, as well as allegations of misclassified employees; counseling clients in various employment matters, including administration of leaves, mass layoffs, state and federal wage and hour laws, and reasonable accommodation obligations; and drafting and revising employee handbooks and policies.

While in law school, Mr. Addy served as a Judicial Intern for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and as an extern for the Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities, where he conducted legal research, drafted opinions, and revised and edited proposed regulatory language.
