Debra Ferdman represents California school districts in all aspects of education law, with a concentration in special education. Ms. Ferdman has extensive experience representing school districts at IEP team meetings, resolution sessions, mediation, due process hearings, federal court appeals and OCR investigations.

Ms. Ferdman began her legal career at Protection and Advocacy, Inc., a public interest agency, specializing in regional center and special education matters. Ms. Ferdman was also a solo practitioner dedicated to special education matters. 

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Ferdman was a special education teacher in the Chicago Public School District, as well as the Los Angeles Unified School District.
