April Navarro advises and represents public agency clients in all matters, including general compliance, risk management, policy, and personnel issues. She regularly conducts employment investigations and has a strong background in handling general litigation matters. Ms. Navarro has drafted and responded to civil and administrative complaints, prepared written discovery, argued ex parte motions, and conducted oral arguments before the courts.

Upon graduating law school, Ms. Navarro worked as a post-graduate legal fellow for the California Attorney General’s Office, where she prepared 26 respondents’ briefs for the Second District of the California Court of Appeal.
