Overview

Anthony M. Ramos advises and represents educational institutions in matters involving board governance, the Public Records Act, conflicts of interest, First Amendment issues, student search and seizure, student discipline, and student privacy/student records, among others. He also provides training sessions to staff and board members in topics such as mandated reporter training, the Brown Act, conflict of interest, student search and seizure, student data privacy, sexual harassment.

Mr. Ramos has more than 21 years of experience representing school districts and public entities and has been practicing law for more than 27 years.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ramos served as General Counsel to the Ventura Unified School District for 17 years.
