Leslie Kim represents and advises school districts and educational entities in employment, labor, governance, personnel, pupil, and other transactional matters. She has broad experience conducting investigations regarding complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employee misconduct, grade change petitions, and hostile work environment.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kim obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at the University of California, Irvine School of Education. She was a student teacher who developed curriculum aligned with the Common Core State Standards for elementary school students.

During law school, Ms. Kim received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Writing and Research and International Human Rights. She was a member of the San Diego International Law Journal and a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael M. Anello of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
