Overview
Monica Hernandez practices in the areas of employment law, business litigation, and commercial litigation. Ms. Hernandez represents clients throughout California in every stage of business and employment disputes. Ms. Hernandez’s employment experience includes representing employers in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Ms. Hernandez has experience representing businesses in breach of contract, fraud, conversion, dissolution, and warranty-related claims and litigation. Ms. Hernandez has successfully defended contract, fraud, and warranty cases in both state and federal court. Ms. Hernandez has also represented employers in matters involving claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Alaska Workers’ Compensation Act, and California Workers’ Compensation Act.
In the course of her practice, Ms. Hernandez works closely with corporate clients and in-house counsel to develop and implement claims handling, litigation and trial strategies. Ms. Hernandez also counsels clients with regard to regulatory compliance for a diverse array of clients including restaurants, hospitality companies, medical institutions, construction companies, and technology companies. Ms. Hernandez practices in state and federal courts and has achieved remarkable results for clients at all stages of litigation.
