Overview

Monica Hernandez represents clients throughout California with regard to employment-related claims. Ms. Hernandez specializes in representing businesses in the areas of wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment, workplace investigations, discipline and termination, and sick leave.

In the course of her practice, Ms. Hernandez works closely with corporate clients and in-house counsel to develop and implement litigation and trial strategies. She handles all aspects of litigation from start to finish, including depositions, law and motion, mediations, and post-trial motions.

Ms. Hernandez also has substantial experience representing businesses in breach of contract, fraud, and warranty-related claims and litigation. Ms. Hernandez has successfully defended contract, fraud, and warranty cases in both state and federal court. As part of her practice, Ms. Hernandez has also represented her employer clients in matters involving claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Alaska Workers’ Compensation Act, and California Workers’ Compensation Act.
