Overview
Miguel O. Medina represents public entity clients in various aspects of labor and employment law handling matters that involve labor disputes, including claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract and wage and hour claims. His clients encompass a wide range of industries including construction, education agencies, hospitality, life sciences, health care, temporary staffing services and international shipping, logistics and distribution.
During law school, Mr. Medina was first exposed to employment law when he earned a fellowship from the San Diego County Bar Association’s Diversity Fellowship Program and was placed with a local employment law firm. Mr. Medina previously externed for Hon. Anthony J. Battaglia and Hon. Bernard Skomal. Mr. Medina also served as an associate editor and writer for the California Western Law Review and International Law Journal. He was also on California Western School of Law Faculty and Diversity Committee.
