Employee Benefits
We advise clients on all aspects of employee benefit plans. We provide advice on the creation, design and implementation of retirement plans (401(k) plans, ESOPs, profit sharing and pension plans), health and welfare benefit plans (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, severance plans) as well as executive compensation and executive benefit plans (IRC Section 409A, non-qualified plans, stock compensation plans, life insurance benefits). We work with our clients and other advisors in these areas (third party administrators, accountants, consultants and insurance carriers) to assist with the operation and administration of these plans, and provide assistance through government audits, independent audits and self-audits. We assist in the acquisition and sale of businesses and advise clients on how to maintain, enhance or eliminate benefits throughout the transaction. Finally, we assist clients in litigating employee benefit matters by providing advice before, during and after litigation has begun.
