We are currently involved in an initiative designed to strengthen the book collections of our local school libraries, BookSmart©. BookSmart© was established by Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo as a library outreach program. “It’s nothing new. Everyone knows that reading can make a huge difference in a child’s academic success,” stated Managing Partner, James C. Romo. “In support of school district library initiatives, our firm has created a program to provide school districts throughout California an opportunity to obtain library or in-class books from Scholastic.” The program provides for maximum flexibility by allowing each district to choose their own books or collections based on their library needs.
