Overview
Gavin J. Hagey comes to AALRR from the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office where he investigated, researched, and prepared misdemeanor cases for the prosecution; handled appeals of routine misdemeanor cases and presented evidence in preliminary hearings in some felony matters; prepared trial briefs and checked questions of law; presented opening statements, interrogated and cross examined witnesses; argued points of law; and made final arguments or summations.
Mr. Hagey has negotiated with defense attorneys regarding the disposition and modification of charges in specific cases. He conducts legal research; analyzes legal issues of pending cases; prepares correspondence and reports; and reviews progress and development of cases with supervisory attorneys.
